Squires Circle #1596  

    The Columbian Squires is a junior organization sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.  The Squires are comprised of over 20,000 young men worldwide, who have fun and share their Catholic faith, help people in need, and enjoy the company of friends in social, athletic, cultural, civic and spiritual activities.  A Squires group is called a “Circle” and each circle is served by Knights, as adult counselors.  Our counselors submit to a strict background check and most have experience in working with or coaching youth.  Squires are encouraged to run their own meetings to build leadership skills and responsibility.  They create their own activities and service programs for their church and their community.  They also hold social events and host their own fundraisers.  Some activities that our Squires might do in the coming year are:

The Columbian Squires will meeting at 6PM on the following dates:

May 3rd
 
In addition we have tentative dates scheduled for a Volunteer outing at the Timothy Hill Children's Ranch in Riverhead on April 18th assisting in facility maintenance as well as interacting with these under privileged kids.  For more information go to http://www.timothyhillranch.org/index.ihtml
 
We also have a tentative date for a family outing to a Ducks game on June 14th at 1:35.  Confirmation of these dates will come shortly.
